Dearly-Loved Faithful Disciple of the Messiah YAOHÚSHUA:

Please be enlightened, edified, delivered, cured, enriched and empowered by your warm spiritual bread for today, courtesy of YÁOHU UL, the real Creator, by the teaching service of the 'RÚKHA hol-HODSHÚA' (Holy Spirit) and in the original Name of the true Messiah - YAOHÚSHUA hol-MEHUSHKHÁY....

(N.B. - 'UL' means 'The All-Powerful Eternal Creator')

YÁOHU UL is King!

He is robed in grandeur and power.

The world is His seat of authority.

O YÁOHU UL, You have reigned from earliest times, from the eternal past.

The mighty oceans resound with Your praise.

You are mightier than all the breakers pounding on the shores of the world!

Your royal decrees cannot be changed. Holiness is forever the keynote of Your reign.

YÁOHU UL, to Whom vengeance belongs, let Your glory shine out. Arise and judge the earth; render judgment against the proud to the penalties they deserve.

YÁOHU UL, how long shall the wicked be allowed to triumph and exult?

Hear their insolence! See their arrogance! How these men of evil boast!

See them oppressing Your people, O YÁOHU UL, afflicting those You love.

They murder widows, immigrants, and orphans, for 'YÁOHU UL isn't looking,' they say, 'and besides, He doesn't care.'

Fools! Is YÁOHU UL deaf and blind - He Who makes ears and eyes?

He punishes the nations - won't He also punish you? He knows everything - doesn't He also know what you are doing?

YÁOHU UL is fully aware of how limited and futile the thoughts of mankind are so He helps us by chastising us. This makes us follow His paths, and gives us respite from our enemies while YÁOHU UL traps them and ruins them.

YÁOHU UL will not forsake His people, for they are His prize.

Judgment will again be just, so all the upright will exult.

Who will protect me from the wicked? Who will be my shield?

I would have died unless YÁOHU UL had helped me.

I screamed, 'I'm slipping, YÁOHU UL!' and He was kind and saved me.

YÁOHU UL, when doubts fill my mind, when my heart is in confusion, quiet me and give me renewed hope and cheer.

Will You permit a corrupt government to rule under Your protection, a government permitting wrong to defeat right?

Do You approve of those who condemn the innocent to death? No! YÁOHU my UL is my fortress - the mighty Rock where I can hide.

YÁOHU UL has made the sins of evil men to backfire upon them! He will ruin them by their own plans.

YÁOHU our UL will ruin them.

There's Always a Time and a Way to Obey and Do -

How wonderful to be wise, to comprehend matters, to be able to analyze them and interpret them. Wisdom lights up a man's face, softening its hardness.

Obey the king (leader) as you have vowed to do. Don't always be trying to get out of doing your duty, even when it's unpleasant. For the king (authority) punishes those who disobey.

The king's command is backed by great power, and no one can oppose or complain against it.

Those who obey him will not be punished. The wise man will find a time and a way to do what he says.

True, there is a time and a way for everything, though man's trouble lies heavy upon him; for how can he avoid what he doesn't know is going to happen?

No one can hold back his spirit from departing; no one has the power to prevent his day of death, for there is no discharge from that obligation and that dark battle. Surely a man's wickedness is not going to help him then.

I have thought deeply about all that goes on here in the world, where people have the power of injuring each other.

I have seen wicked men buried and as their friends returned from the cemetery, having ignored all the dead man's evil deeds, these men were praised in the very community where they had committed their many crimes! How odd!

Because YÁOHU UL does not punish sinners quickly, people wrongly presume that it is safe to do wrong.

But though a man sins a hundred times and still lives, I know very well that those who reverentially fear YÁOHU UL will be better off, unlike the wicked, who will not live long, empowered lives - their days shall pass away as quickly as shadows because they don't reverentially fear YÁOHU UL.

There is a something unusual happening here upon the earth: Providence seems to treat some upright men as though they were wicked, and some wicked men as though they were upright. This is all very vexing and troublesome!

Then I determined to spend my time having fun, because I felt that there was nothing better in all the earth than that a man should eat, drink, and be merry, with the hope that this exuberance would stick with him in all the hard work which YÁOHU UL gives to mankind everywhere.

In my search for wisdom I observed all that was going on everywhere throughout the earth - ceaseless activity, day and night.

Of course, only YÁOHU UL can see everything, and even the wisest man who says He knows everything, doesn't!

YÁOHU UL's Mercies Never Fail -

O Yaoshorúl (Israel), return to YÁOHU, your UL, for you have been crushed by your sins.

Bring your petition. Come to YÁOHU UL and say, 'YÁOHU UL, please take away our sins; be favorable to us and receive us, and we will offer You the sacrifice of praise.

Assyria cannot save us, nor can our skill in battle; never again will we call the idols we have made 'our Almighty'; for in You alone, O YÁOHU UL, the fatherless find mercy.'

Then I will cure you of idolatry and faithlessness, and My love will know no bounds, for My anger will be forever gone!

I will refresh Yaoshorúl like the dew from heaven; she will blossom as the lily and root deeply in the soil like the 'eresím' (ceda-s) in Lebanon.

Her branches will spread out, as beautiful as olive trees, fragrant as the forests of Lebanon.

Her people will return from exile far away and rest beneath My shadow. They will be a watered garden and blossom like grapes and be as fragrant as the wines of Lebanon.

O Ephraim! Keep away from idols! I am Living and All-Powerful! I look after you and care for you. I am like an evergreen tree, yielding My fruit to you throughout the year. My mercies never fail.

Whoever is wise, let him comprehend these matters. Whoever is intelligent, hearken! For the paths of YÁOHU UL are true and right, and upright men walk along them.

But sinners trying it will fail.

YÁOHU UL Makes Abruhám the Father of Many Nations -

But Sarai and Abram had no children. So Sarai took her maid, an Egyptian girl named Hagar, and gave her to Abram to be his second wife.

'Since YÁOHU UL has given me no children,' Sarai said, 'you may sleep with my servant girl, and her children shall be mine.'

And Abram agreed. (This took place ten years after Abram had first arrived in the land of Canaan.) So he slept with Hagar, and she conceived; and when she realized she was pregnant, she became very proud and arrogant toward her lady Sarai.

Then Sarai said to Abram, 'It's all your fault. For now this servant girl of mine despises me, though I myself gave her the privilege of being your wife. May YÁOHU UL judge you for doing this to me!'

'You have my permission to punish the girl as you see fit,' Abram replied. So Sarai beat her and she ran away. The Angel of YÁOHU UL found her beside a desert spring along the road to Shur.

The Angel: 'Hagar, Sarai's maid, where have you come from, and where are you going?'

Hagar: 'I am running away from my lady.'

The Angel: 'Return to your lady and submit to her authority, for I will make you into a great nation. Yes, you are pregnant and your baby will be a son, and you are to name him Ishma-Úl ('UL hears'), because YÁOHU UL has heard your woes. This son of yours will be a wild one - free and untamed as a wild ass!

He will be against everyone and everyone will feel the same towards him. But he will live near the rest of his kin.'

Thereafter Hagar spoke of YÁOHU UL - for it was He Who appeared to her - as 'YÁOHU UL Who looked upon me,' for she thought, 'I saw YÁOHU UL and lived to tell it'

Later that well was named 'Beér-Ulkháy-Roée' (The Well of the Living One Who Sees Me.' It lies between Kadesh and Bered.

So Hagar gave Abram a son, and Abram named him Ishma-Úl. (Abram was eighty-six years old at this time.)

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, YÁOHU UL appeared to him and told him, 'I am YÁOHU UL Tzavulyáo; obey Me and live as you should.

I will prepare a Covenant between us, guaranteeing to make you into a mighty nation. In fact you shall be the father of not only one nation, but a multitude of nations!'

Abram fell faceward in the dust as YÁOHU UL talked with him.

'What's more,' YÁOHU UL told him, 'I am changing your name. It is no longer 'Abram' ('Exalted Father ), but 'Abruhám' ('Father of Nations') - for that is, what you will be. I have declared it.

I will give you millions of offsprings who will form many nations! Kings shall be among your offsprings! And I will continue this Covenant between us generation after generation, forever, for it shall be between Me and your children as well.

It is a Covenant that I shall be your YÁOHU UL and the YÁOHU UL of your generations. And I will give all - this land of Canaan to you and them, forever. And I will be your YÁOHU UL.'

'Your part of the Covenant,' YÁOHU UL told him, 'is to obey its terms. You personally and all your generations have this continual responsibility: that every male among you shall be circumcised; the foreskin of his sex organ shall be cut off. This will be the proof that you and they accept this Covenant.

Every male shall be circumcised on the eighth day after birth. This applies to every foreign-born slave as well as to everyone born in your household. This is a permanent part of this Covenant, and it applies to all your offsprings - all must be circumcised.

Your bodies will thus be marked as participants in My eternal Covenant. Anyone who refuses these terms shall be cut off from his people; for he has violated My covenant.'

Then YÁOHU UL added, 'Regarding Sarai your wife - her name is no longer 'Sarai' but 'Soroáh' (Princess). And I will reward her and give you a son from her! Yes, I will reward her richly, and make her the mother of nations! Many kings shall be among your lineage.

Then Abruhám threw himself down in worship before YÁOHU UL, but inside he was laughing in disbelief!, 'Me, be a father?' he said in amusement. 'Me - 100 years old? And Soroáh, to have a child at 90!'

And Abruhám said to YÁOHU UL, 'Yes, do favor Ishma-Úl!'

'No,' YÁOHU UL replied, 'that isn't what I said. Soroáh shall bear you a son; and you are to name him YÁOHU-tzkáq ('Laughter'), and I will sign My covenant with him forever, and with his offsprings.

As for Ishma-Úl, all right, I will favor him also, just as you have asked Me to. I will cause him to multiply and become a great nation. Twelve princes shall be among his lineage.

But My Covenant is with who will be born to you and Soroáh this forthcoming year at about this time.'

That ended the discourse and YÁOHU UL left. Then, that very day, Abruhám took Ishma-Úl his son and every other male - born in his household or bought from outside - and cut off their foreskins, just as YÁOHU UL had told him to.

Abruhám was ninety-nine years old at that time, and Ishma-Úl was thirteen. Both were circumcised the same day, along with all the other men and boys of the household, whether born there or bought as slaves.

YÁOHU UL appeared again to Abruhám while he was living in the oak grove at Mamre. This is the way it happened: One hot summer afternoon as he sat by the opening of his dwelling tent, he surprisingly noticed three men coming toward him.

He sprang up and ran to meet them and welcomed them.

'Gentlemen,' he said, 'not any further, please. Stop awhile and rest awhile here in the shade of this tree while I get water to refresh your feet, and a bite to eat to reinvigorate you. Do remain awhile before continuing your journey.'

'All right,' they said, 'do as you have said.'

Then Abruhám ran back to the tent and said to Sarah, 'Quick! Mix up some pancakes! Use your best flour, and make enough for the three of them!'

Then he ran out to the herd and selected a fat calf and told a servant to hurry and butcher it. Soon, taking the cheese and milk and the roast veal, he set it before the men and arose beneath the trees beside them as they ate.

'Where is Soroáh, your wife?' they asked him.

'In the tent,' Abruhám replied.

Then YÁOHU UL said, 'Next year I will give you and Soroáh a son!' (Soroáh was within hearing by the tent door behind him.)

Now Abruhám and Soroáh were both very old, and Soroáh was long since past the time when she could have a child.

So Soroáh laughed silently. 'A woman my age have a child?' she scoffed to herself 'And with a husband as old as mine?'

Then YÁOHU UL said to Abruhám, 'Why did Soroáh laugh? Why did she say 'Can an old woman like me have a child?'

Is anything too difficult for YÁOHU UL?

Next year, just as I told you, I will definitely see to it that Soroáh has a son!'

But Soroáh denied it. 'I didn't laugh,' she lied, for she was afraid.

Then the men rose up from their meal and began their journey toward Sodom; and Abruhám went with them part of the way.

'Should I hide My plan from Abruhám?' YÁOHU UL asked. 'For Abruhám shall become a mighty nation, and he will be a source of rewards for all the nations of the earth. And I have picked him out to have upright offsprings and a noble household, men who are just as well as upright - so I can do for him all I have promised.'

So YÁOHU UL told Abruhám, 'I have heard that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah are utterly evil, and that everything they do is wicked. I am going down to see whether these reports are true or not. Then I will know.

So the other two went on toward Sodom, but YÁOHU UL remained with Abruhám awhile. Then Abruhám approached Him and said, 'Will You kill upright and bad alike?

Suppose You find fifty upright people there within the city - will You annihilate it, and not spare it for their sakes?

That wouldn't be right! Surely You wouldn't do such, to kill the upright with the wicked! Why, You would be treating upright and wicked exactly the same! Surely You wouldn't do that! Should not the Judge of All the Earth be Just?'

And YÁOHU UL replied, 'If I find fifty upright people there, I will spare the entire city for their sake.'

Then Abruhám spoke again. 'Since I have begun, let me go on and speak further to YÁOHU UL, though I am but dust as well as ashes. Suppose there are only forty-five? Will You ruin the city for lack of five?"

And YÁOHU UL said, 'I will not ruin it if I find forty-five.'

Then Abruhám went further with his request. 'Suppose there are only forty?'

And YÁOHU UL replied, 'I won't ruin it if there are forty.'

'Don't be angry, please,' Abruhám pleaded. 'Let me speak: suppose only thirty are found there?'

And YÁOHU UL replied, 'I won't do it if there are thirty there.'

Then Abruhám said, 'Since I have dared to speak to YÁOHU UL, let me continue - Suppose there are only twenty?'

And YÁOHU UL said, 'Then I won't annihilate it, for the sake of the twenty.'

Finally, Abruhám said, 'Oh, let not YÁOHU UL be angry; I will speak but this once more! Suppose only ten are found?'

And YÁOHU UL said, 'Then, for the sake of the ten, I won't ruin it.'

And YÁOHU UL went on His way when He had finished His discussion with Abruhám.

And Abruhám returned to his dwelling tent.

(Note: The modern-day Arabs are from the lineage of Ishma-Úl; modern-day Palestinians are not Arabs but Cretans.)

Because you have patiently obeyed Me despite the persecution, therefore I will protect you from the time of Great Tribulation and temptation, which will come upon the world to test everyone alive.

Look, I am coming soon! Hold tightly to the little power you have - so that no one will take away your crown.

As for the one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the Temple of My YÁOHU UL; he will be secure, and will go out no more; and I will write My YÁOHU UL's 'Shúam' (Name) on him, and he will be a citizen in the City of My YÁOHU UL - the New Yaohúshua-oléym (Jerusalem), coming down from heaven from My YÁOHU UL; and he will have My new Shúam inscribed upon him.
